Sarah Deaves

Managing Director, Head of Financial Planning

Sarah has been leading the abrdn team as Managing Director since February 2022 covering Great Britain & Northern Ireland.

She has extensive experience in wealth management, leading regulated financial planning firms, holding senior leadership positions in a range of major wealth management businesses in the UK including Schroders Personal Wealth, Lloyds Banking Group to RBS Group where she was the first female Chief Executive of Coutts & Co, the UK's leading private bank. She is a customer champion with a particular focus on leading client-facing teams and innovation in client experience.
