Fund objective

The Fund will mainly invest in units of a foreign fund, Aberdeen Standard SICAV I - China A Share Sustainable Equity Fund ("Master Fund), with net exposure of at least 80% of its NAV, in average, in any accounting period. The Fund Manager has the discretion, but will typically aim to hedge at least 90% of the exchange rate risk between the base currency of the Fund (THB) and the Master Fund (USD).

The Master Fund's investment objective is long term total return to be achieved by investing, directly or indirectly (including through QFI, the Shanghai-Hong Kong and Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect programmes, participatory notes, equity linked notes and any other eligible means), at least 90% of its total assets in equity and equity-related securities of companies whose securities are listed on Chinese Stock Exchanges, including, without limitation, China A-Shares and B-Shares of companies listed on the Chinese Stock Exchanges and corresponding H-shares or other equivalent securities authorised by the China Securities Regulatory Commission for purchase by non-Chinese investors.

China A-Shares and B-Shares
China A-Shares are listed and traded on one of the Chinese Stock Exchanges. Purchase and ownership of China A-Shares is generally restricted to Chinese investors and selected foreign institutional investors that have obtained a QFI permit or have access to the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect or Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect programmes.

B-Shares are listed and traded in foreign currencies on one of the Chinese Stock Exchanges and are open to both domestic and foreign investors.

The Master Fund is actively managed. The Master Fund aims to outperform the MSCI China A Onshore Index (USD) benchmark before charges. The benchmark is also used as a reference point for portfolio construction and as a basis for setting risk constraints, but does not incorporate any sustainable criteria.
